As someone who has worked in both the Meteorology and Wedding industries, I saw firsthand the impact that weather can have on a couple’s big day. From unexpected rainstorms to extreme temperatures, the weather plays a significant role in wedding planning. By merging my expertise in Meteorology with my love for weddings, I created a service that helps couples plan with confidence, no matter what the weather may bring. Through tailored weather forecasts and professional guidance, 'I Do Meteorology LLC' provides couples with the tools they need to make informed decisions and have a memorable wedding experience, rain or shine.
Hi! I'm Brittany! I am so happy you are here!
From a young age, I’ve always been captivated by science and the natural world. It wasn’t until I reached a point where I began to think seriously about my future that I realized my passion could turn into a career as a meteorologist. Growing up, like many people, I would watch meteorologists on TV or check weather apps, and I found myself intrigued by how they could predict the weather and explain the forces behind it. The idea of being able to forecast weather and communicate important information to people felt like the perfect blend of science and service.
As I learned more about the growing challenges related to climate change, my interest in meteorology deepened. The weather is becoming more unpredictable, and the impacts of climate change are affecting communities around the world. I want to be a part of helping people understand these changes and how to best prepare for extreme weather events, whether it’s severe storms, flooding, or even prolonged heatwaves.
My goal is to not only inform people but also empower them with the knowledge to protect themselves and their loved ones in a world where the weather is increasingly unpredictable.
In 2021, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Science from George Mason University.
To further enhance my education, I completed a Professional Master's degree in Forecasting and Modeling from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2022.
After obtaining my degrees, I worked as a meteorologist for DTN, a global weather services provider specializing. I delivered a range of forecasts for concerts and various sporting events, helping clients prepare for and mitigate the impacts of weather on their operations and activities.
I began working as a day-of coordinator for Bellagala, a renowned Minnesota-based wedding and events company. I collaborate closely with brides, event planners, and vendors to ensure the seamless execution of each wedding or event, contributing to a memorable and stress-free experience for all involved.
